Organizing Gull Air timetables is challenging. Feedback and additional information is certainly welcomed.
The company began operations from its Hyannis, Mass. base in the late 1970s. As with several other commuter airlines, Gull Air began a Florida operation to seasonally balance traffic demand. It did so initially under the relatively short-lived Air Florida Commuter brand.
During this period Gull Air produced timetables for both its Northern and Southern divisions - some solely under the Gull Air brand and others including both Air Florida Commuter and Gull Air flights.
The AirTimes organization of Gull Air timetables attempts to sort this out.
Collector William White advises, "The Air Florida relationship began in New England on 07-01-82 and only later that year in Florida but with no known Florida timetable until 08-01-83. So, some mid-’82 northern issues may be system issues. Before 07-01-82 all issues are clearly Class 1A System Timetables. Air Florida timetables did not identify Air Florida Commuter flights, let alone which of their various partners operated them. Only the flight numbers and flight times give a clue."
