Houston Metro Airlines, later Metro Airlines, became a holding company with numerous operating divisions and affiliations.

Metro established some of these divisions while others were acquired from previously independent operators.

The Class 1A timetables listed below incorporate all Metro Airlines flights including American Eagle and Eastern Metro Express where applicable.

Later Metro system timetables - marked with an asterisk - include Texas operations, but not the ATL-based Eastern Metro Express division.

Metro Airlines flights were also included in joint timetables published specifically for their American Eagle and Eastern Metro Express operations by the those mainline carriers.

Commuter services supporting Eastern's SJU hub were operated by Aviation Associates, a Metro Airlines division, which had aquired SJU-based Sunaire. Following Eastern's closure, this Metro division reemerged as Sunaire Express, an indpendent carrier.
