Collector William White shares background informtion regarding AAA/Mid Continent timetables.

AAA Airlines was acquired by Mid Continent on April 1, 1985. The AAA brand was continued until the company filed bankruptcy so two brands co-existed for a period of time.

AAA timetables indicated by an asterisk are in effect a local edition for Omaha as specific nontops between small-town out-stations are not included. AirTimes lists these as 'system timetable's in the absence of any other known complete timetables.

Mid Continent became a Braniff Express code-share carrier in early 1987.
